"Oh Idaho, I Love Thee..."

O.K. not really, but after this massive project that Laynee has had to do I think we might know more about Idaho than the people who really live there! For a 4th grader, this was a gi-normus project. Just to rattle off a few of the things this project entailed:

  • A report (of course)

  • map of state

  • mobile of natural attractions

  • self designed t-shirt

  • diorama of indian tribe

  • state flag (hand drawn)

  • state bird (hand drawn)

  • tall tale

  • poem

  • brochure

  • license plate

She also had to take into her class a food from Idaho, we chose potato chips naturally, and she had to wear a costume of something that represented her state. She is a sack of Idaho potatoes. She gets to present her project to her class today. I'm glad we had 2 months to prepare this monster, and I'm glad its now over!

Future Guitar Hero Extraordinaire

Jack is the future of guitar hero. He loves it all ready. He screams "ya-hee-o" (his version of guitar hero) all the way down the stairs when he knows thats where were going. He races to the closet where the guitars are kept, and straps up and gets ready to play. He insists on getting his turn too. Otherwise he stands right in front of the T.V. so you can't see. Gotta love the kid!

What a nuisance!

I may look cute and cuddly........

but when I get hungry, I am not afraid to find trash that stupid people leave out! This is the mess I love to make...

Note to self: Stop leaving trash out on the deck. The raccoons always get into it! The lucky thing about the mess this varment left, was that I was able to recover that little yellow cup that Jack apparently tossed in the garbage. So thanks for the favor, I guess.
