Laynee's Region 9 cross country meet was this past Tuesday and with it being conveniently located at Bloomington Hills park, we were able to convince a lot of family to come and support her run. She really poured it on and was 4th overall in girls varsity. It was really fun to have aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, grandma, and even Moose there to cheer her on.
This is her post-race carb load.

We stayed close to home for UEA break. I worked a normal work-week and then headed to Pine Valley on Friday afternoon. Judd was showing off his prize ginormous spud.
The boys spent some time fishing in Gardner's pond.
I spent a lot of time over the dutch oven cooking up the potatoes. Good things come to those who wait...a long time.
This is our lumber-Jack.
Judd wasn't too excited when he came out and saw Jack wielding an axe.
Later that night we headed up to Mom's cabin and roasted smores with Kyle's fam.
And this was breakfast. Left-over dutch oven potatoes and Janice's hot cocoa.
Laynee spent the weekend with her cousin Landree in Oceanside California. Beach, Knott's Berry Farm, and the Pier. She had a blast.

what is landree doing in California? Looks fun. Can't wait to see you guys again, whenever that will be.
