Not a lot going on the past few weeks, but Drew did turn big 13. Aunt Mandy arranged for an early morning start to Drew's day by taking him to breakfast at Village Inn. He thought it was just going to be him and his cousin, but when he climbed into the van, he was surprised with a van full of his friends as well.
This is the shirt that they gave him to wear all day. Kids signed it throughout the day. Ben and Jaron came over that night and had a movie night and enjoyed some ice cream and cheesecake.
Good to have cousins to hang with.
Jack did some maturing of his own this past week by losing another tooth. This was yet another successful pull for me. These kids will never learn - if you have a loose tooth, don't tell Dad, and definitely don't let him "just feel how loose it is."
This brings us to this past weekend. My family was spread out from California with Laynee running XC in Irvine to Drew playing soccer in Park City and even the Young Guns got in on the travel - they went with the McArthurs up to watch the BYU vs Virginia game. The above and below pics are from Friday night. Dad's night to cook = "put some nice clothes on, we're going to Pizza Factory."
Putting those calories to use. (Jack usually takes it to Seth)
Thought you were through blogging....good to get caught up. Busy, busy, busy...but good times. It's going by way too fast. Love to hear what they are doing though. Keep up the good work.
